There are two main types of hand held pallet wrap. They are known as Blown pallet wrap and Cast pallet wrap.

Blown pallet wrap is a robust material with good memory, this film works very well in low temperatures. Blown film in compassion to cast will have a slightly milkier appearance but still remain clear. If you require a film to fully cover your contents then choose a coloured film such as BLACK. Blown film has a high degree of tack to itself and therefore creates a very stable pack. Colour options are available dependent on quantity.

Cast pallet wrap is very similar, but compared with blown cast is clearer in appearance does not have the same high tack quality. Cast films are most commonly used in clean environments because cast does not attract dust in the same way as blown.

1. When using pallet wrap always secure the film to the pallet before wrapping.

2. When you start to wrap make sure the first layer covers the bottom of the pallet

3. If the pallet is unstable it’s advisable to wrap twice around the bottom before continuing

4. Completely cover the contents to make sure the goods arrive safely

If your items are of an unstable load please consider using polypropylene strapping to help the pallet arrive undamaged.
